If it happens outdoors, we probably do it!

Here are Chris and James having a quick breather before a steep uphill section in Claiffe Heights in the Lake District.

Cycling is great for challenging your sense of balance, because the bike is moving (and sometimes the ground does too!). We can also use four-wheeled bikes for extra stability, or if you need a bit of support while you're sitting down.

Biking is also great for leg strength and general fitness. The thrill of the downhills is almost as good as the satisfaction of getting to the top of the uphills.

We've taken clients biking on everything from canal towpaths to mountains; from the New Forest in England to the Cairngorms in Scotland to Snowdonia in Wales.

Here is Neil helping a client at the top of an abseil in the Peak District.

Climbing is great for strength and flexibility. It also helps develop hand-eye coordination, or body sense. This is because you can't always see the hold you're trying to put your hands and feet on, so the brain has to work out where the body is in relation to the rock.

We've also taken clients climbing on Stanage, and other gritstone edges in the Peak District; at Porthclais Harbour in Pembrokeshire; and in the Ardeche, in the South of France.

This is Jess helping Dan learn to kayak on the river Derwent. Once Dan was confident, we carried on down the river to the whitewater section.

Kayaking really helps to build core strength and upper body fitness. It will also challenge your balance and coordination.

Kayaking can be anything from a gentle float on a beautiful lake to an adrenalin filled expedition down a raging river. The choice is yours, and we know the perfect location for everyone!

Open canoes are great because they are really easy to get in and out of. We can even adapt canoes for wheelchair users, or tie two together so they are very stable. Open canoeing is the perfect way to explore rivers and get closer to nature.

We love loading our food and camping gear into a canoe and setting off exploring! There are lots of beautiful places all over the UK which we've been to, and even more which we haven't explored yet..

Walking is great for general fitness, both of the body and the soul. There is something special about being in the hills, away from the noise of cities and traffic.

Most of the team enjoy nothing better than strapping a rucksack on and disappearing into the hills for a few days. In fact, our clients have loved this as well. One recent client's comment a few days after a walking weekend with us; "Wow! my leg feels so much stronger, and even the stairs don't seem like such a challenge now..."
