Short Breaks
To secure your place for your short break we require 50% of the total fees at the time of booking. Unless agreed otherwise, the remaining 50% of the fees will be payable two weeks before the break.
In situations where the booking is cancelled by you, a cancellation fee will apply. Where more than one month notice is given we will refund your deposit less 25% of the total fees for the short break you had booked. Deposits are non-refundable with less than one month notice. Depending on the circumstances of the cancellation, it may be possible to transfer the deposit to another booking. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you think you might have to cancel or reschedule your short break.

Full payment is required when you book in order to secure your place.

In the unlikely event we need to cancel the booking we will offer you alternative dates or a full refund.
We strongly advise that you take out personal accident, and travel insurance which covers cancellation fees and (if we are going abroad) repatriation. We recommend the British Mountaineering Council insurance as they cover outdoor activities, emergency repatriation, normal travel risks, and they have excellent medical advisors backing them up, and can accommodate pre-existing medical conditions. Cheaper insurance is available, but please make sure it meets your requirements, and that you disclose any pre-existing medical conditions.
